MICHAEL KORS SPRING 2014 WATCH COLLECTION

NEW YORK – Michael Kors is pleased to introduce the Spring 2014 watch collection, featuring a brand new watch, the Channing, in versions for both women and men. 

The Channing comes in five unique styles, three women’s and two men’s. The women’s watches feature semi-precious stones on their dials, and include a two-tone watch with a lapis face, a rose gold-tone watch with a tiger’s eye face and a gold-tone watch with a turquoise face.  The men’s versions come in silver-tone and gold-tone with contrasting dials.

In addition, updated takes on the Runway Twist, Bradshaw and a new top-tier watch with a double-length gold-tone bracelet will be part of the new collection.

The Spring 2014 watch collection will be available in stores and online starting February 1, 2014.

The standout white shade was a hit on the catwalks during NYFW with models dressed from head to toe in the crisp color. White was a major theme at 3.1 Phillip Lim, Thakoon, Derek Lam, Carolina Herrera, Ralph Rucci, Victoria Beckham and more. I used this amazing 3D blazer from SIGNATURE by Velvet Oak, to make a statement in my look ! Never underestimate the power of a bold pop of vibrant red lipstick to add some interest to the face and remember to keep your eyes and skin bare and minimalistic.

I doubt the creators behind the addictive Netflix series, Orange Is the New Black, realized they were predicting a major New York Fashion Week color moment when they dreamed up the show's title. In this post I wanted to create a contrast with my two favorite colors, black and white! I love the details of  lace and leather in this Velvet Oak skirt, its so dressy and feminine with a touch of roughness ! The way the sweatshirt dresses it down is my favorite part. I consider this an edgy look perfect to wear it from day to night. What do you think ??

***Dudo mucho que los creadores detrás de la serie adictiva de Netflix, el naranja es el nuevo negro, se hayan dado cuenta que habían pronosticado un importante momento de color en la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York cuando le pusieron ese título a la serie. En este post he querido crear un contraste con mis dos colores preferidos, blanco y negro! Me encantan los detalles de encaje y cuero en esta falda de Velvet Oak, es tan elegante y femenina pero con un toque de rudeza! La sensación de comodidad que da la sudadera es mi parte favorita.
