Look of the day: Plaid and Quilted Leather !

Plaid and leather, there are fewer combinations of pattern and texture that go together better than these two. Plaids and leathers are the must haves for the fall fashion trend set; they should always go together, and they’re delicious when they do. I definitely  love plaid around this time of year It’s just so cozy, I’ve paired it with a  quilted leather skirt from Lulu's and glammed it up a bit with a pair of great red pumps from Savvy & Savvy, and a fantastic statement necklace!

*** Tartán y piel,  no hay mas combinaciones de estampado y textura que vayan juntos mejor que estos dos. El tartán y la piel son el "must have" de las tendencias de otoño, además considero que siempre deben ir de la mano, son exquistos cuando los usas juntos. Definitivamente amo los cuadros en esta época del año, son muy acogedores!! Yo los usé con una falda circular de cuero acolchado de Lulu's y lo pulí un poco con un par de zapatos rojos de Savvy & Savvy y el toque final un collar!! 

Look of the day: Vintage print

In 2013, we will see re-emergence of many past trends but one trend that will push the envelope a little further are prints. These abstract prints will enhance the look in a simple and understated way and will add fun and colour to everything. The trend recently dominated the runways of Paris, Milan and London Fashion Week. According to designer Nikasha Tawadey, the clothing trends from the era of 1950s and 1960s, especially "circle skirts, A-line skirts and nipped waists", are likely to create sensation in this year. 

This is the way I styled my look mixing a vintage print and a circle skirt, I decided to make a knot to the shirt to create a fresh spring look.

Floral Top Peach Makeover / Pink Skirt ZARA / Sandals FAENA

***En 2013, veremos resurgir de muchas tendencias del pasado pero una tendencia que va a resaltar un poco más: los estampados. Estos grabados mejorarán tu look de una manera sencilla y discreta y agregarán diversión y color a todo. La tendencia recientemente dominó las pasarelas de París, Milán y Londres en la semana de la moda. Según el diseñador Nikasha Tawadey, la ropa de la época de los años 1950 y 1960, especialmente las "faldas circulares, en linea A y acinturadas", son las mas propensas a crear sensación en este año.

Esta es el styling de mi look que logré mezclando un estampado vintage con una falda de circular, decidí hacer un nudo a la camisa para crear look primaveral muy fresco.
