Esta tendencia sobresaliente se puede usar en la vida real cuando se combina con algo un poco más discreto. I doubt the creators behind the addictive Netflix series, Orange Is the New Black, realized they were predicting a major New York Fashion Week color moment when they dreamed up the show's title. In this post I wanted to create a contrast with my two favorite colors, black and white! I love the details of  lace and leather in this Velvet Oak skirt, its so dressy and feminine with a touch of roughness ! The way the sweatshirt dresses it down is my favorite part. I consider this an edgy look perfect to wear it from day to night. What do you think ??

***Dudo mucho que los creadores detrás de la serie adictiva de Netflix, el naranja es el nuevo negro, se hayan dado cuenta que habían pronosticado un importante momento de color en la Semana de la Moda de Nueva York cuando le pusieron ese título a la serie. En este post he querido crear un contraste con mis dos colores preferidos, blanco y negro! Me encantan los detalles de encaje y cuero en esta falda de Velvet Oak, es tan elegante y femenina pero con un toque de rudeza! La sensación de comodidad que da la sudadera es mi parte favorita. The "new boho" is here, and it's time to disregard all your previous notions about bohemian chic styles, it is all about making bohemian-inspired styles wearable for your everyday life looking individual and natural. This season the boho trend had many names  such as: exotic, global, ethnic and "new boho" among others. I made the boho look by mixing a pair of leather shorts and a printed kimono, remember that you don't have to wear baggy clothes to create a boho style.

Esta temporada la tendencia boho tenía muchos nombres, tales como: exótico, global, étnico y "nuevo boho", entre otros. Esta falda de Velvet Oak tiene un poder mágico que no muchas faldas poseen, es un camaleón con clase cuando se trata de mezclarla y hacer coincidir su color con muchas otras tendencias. Se puede sentir sutil contra una paleta de color natural, sin embargo, cuando se combina con estoperoles, lentejuelas o cuero negro tiene la capacidad de transmitirte a un look muy cool de mood vanguardista y rudo.  It’s not often that a footwear trend emerges that both guys and girls can embrace with equal glee. But this season is full of them, from oxfords and loafers to brogues and now, the evening slipper. The style’s regal roots are what made these shoes a preppy staple today, especially when embroidered with motifs such as a skull and crossbones or in my case with my name initials! They do still come in gorgeous velvet, but they’ve also been given a makeover with materials more appropriate for daytime and denim, and crossed over from a menswear eccentricity to one of the most fashionable footwear choices a girl can make.

*** No es frecuente que una tendencia de calzado le guste tanto los chicos como las chicas con la misma alegría. Pero esta temporada está llena de ellas, desde oxfords, mocasines y, ahora, las slippers. Las raíces reales de este estilo son lo que hacen de estos zapatos un elemento básico y de muy buen gusto, especialmente cuando están bordadas con motivos tales como una calavera y huesos cruzados o en mi caso con mis iniciales! Este modelo no nada mas viene en un precioso terciopelo, sino que también se les ha dado un cambio de imagen con los materiales más apropiados para el día, y cruzaron desde una excentricidad de ropa masculina a una de las opciones de calzado de moda que una chica puede usar.

*** La asociación de las flores con la primavera es fuerte y natural. Como lo es en la naturaleza, razón por la que están tan de moda. Pero eso es  lo que hace que las flores en invierno sean tan espectaculares contra todo pronóstico, el color que brilla a través del frío y la oscuridad, es una especie de recordatorio de lo que fue la primavera y una promesa de lo que está por venir durante el invierno.

La transición de verano a las tendencias de moda de invierno 2013 son un poco más fáciles de percibir si tienes un jardín de flores invernales para trabajar en cuanto a qué florals elegir este año y cómo usarlos, es posible que después de un poco de trabajo encuentren inspiración como yo lo logré aterrizar en mi atuendo de hoy!
