Look of the day: Neon pop

We all know that in order to make an outfit really pop, you have to master the element of surprise. There’s nothing that'll liven up your look more than bold neon accessories mixed with the black and white trend. This look is about feminine sophistication, black and white prints in a cinched waisted skirt and a basic black top for a great look. This coming spring don’t doubt the notion that the most basic of colors can come together to create a beautiful warm weather wardrobe that just might get you snapped by a street style photographer.

 A few leather pieces here and there can work no matter what the weather is, slim leather items are an easy alternative for the warmer days of summer. A short skirt is an unexpectedly pretty option. The key to wearing leather in spring is choosing a shape that falls a bit away from the body, giving your skin room to breathe.

Una falda corta es una opción bastante inesperada. La clave para usar cuero en la primavera es elegir una prenda que quede lejos del cuerpo, dando un espacio para que la piel respire.

Así que aquí está el nuevo diseño de mi colección de cuero, la falda corta! Me encanta la forma en que se puede usar, piensa en ella como una pieza neutral que se puede mezclar con casi cualquier top.

Look of the day: Cat eye sunnies

As we all know nothing is new in fashion but every spring/summer season there are a pair of sunnies that seem to dominate the season. This year the world is quite smitten with cat eye sunglasses. They have such a cool retro look  and are the perfect accessory to add interest to any look. 

I chose this style of cat eyed sunnies, they're quite easy to wear with everything, in this case I styled my look, with a farmer typical blouse from Yucatán this is the very first time I used it (btw I LOVED it) with a casual cinched waist skirt trying to make a color block with shades of white/nude creating a monochromatic look at the same time.

Look of the day: Tweed ladylike jacket

Coco Chanel once said that simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance... and frankly, I couldn't agree more.

Chanel designed her first signature cardigan jacket in the 1920s. Since then, the typically tweed topper has been reinvented by countless fashion houses.

That's why today's look focuses on a classic and elegant piece the -ladylike jacket- and the way I've styled it, with a slew of wonderfully wearable pieces that are perfect for the modern sophisticate think: a silky red blouse, indigo slim cropped trousers, a statement piece (necklace) and a a pair of killer stilettos.

 I used a stunning necklace to add a feminine touch to the outfit and to keep the attention on the top part of my outfit, adding a contrast to the tweed ladylike jacket.
