Look of the day: Animal Print Denim

If you've been keeping your eyes on the urban game trails, you've probably seen a lot of wild prints running by. Patterned denim is more popular than ever and I'm not letting you step into spring without a pair of your own. You can still look chic, mature, and office appropriate while showing your spots. To convince you that patterned denim is an adult "do," I made this choice of a leopard-print pair from Mango and styled it for a real-world situation.

El denim con estampado es más popular que nunca y no voy a dejar que entre la primavera sin un par. Todavía puedes lucir apropiada, chic y madura para ir a la oficina con un denim estampado. Para convencerte de eso hice este look para una situación del mundo real.

We all know that in order to make an outfit really pop, you have to master the element of surprise. There’s nothing that'll liven up your look more than bold neon accessories mixed with the black and white trend. This look is about feminine sophistication, black and white prints in a cinched waisted skirt and a basic black top for a great look. This coming spring don’t doubt the notion that the most basic of colors can come together to create a beautiful warm weather wardrobe that just might get you snapped by a street style photographer.

Snake print has gained popularity after appearing in numerous spring runway shows, while celebs have recently been spotted rocking this print on the red carpet. Now that snake print pieces are finally trickling down to retailers, fashionistas everywhere can test out this summer trend.

The print has a sultry and mysterious vibe, making it the perfect choice to add a little edge to your wardrobe. Snake print may seem a little intimidating to wear, but it’s actually super-easy to pull off!

Today's post is 50's inspired the best part about stealing this trend is that every woman can look universally flattering in a '50s style A-line skirt because the silhouette hides any problem areas in the upper legs. If you are a little more petite, try a skirt that hits above the knee to elongate your legs. If you’re taller, one to the knee or just past the knee will give you the total Marilyn Monroe-glam look.

When I think of the 1950s, Lucille Ball in polka dots immediately comes to my mind. Who doesn’t want to embody the iconic funny girl? A navy and white option above the knee and closer to the body will give this classic trend a new modern twist. The right accessories will also instantly perfect this look. Classic peep-toe pumps, a satchel bag and oversize sunglasses basically scream '50s glamour.
