Look of the day: Spring dress

Spring is arriving and with it the chance to update our wardrobes with fresh new pieces that are in line with 2014′s fashion trends. And while it’s up to you as to how you choose to interpret and adapt the trends to suit your own personal style, that doesn’t mean I'm going to leave you short on guidance and inspiration. Think clashes, contrasts, cut+paste craziness… this palette is all about a wild mix of colours and textures. 

I decided to clash this post with a purple layered dress gift from a very good friend designer Noé Roa and a yellow chunky necklace for a spring saturday, with a touch of metallic with an oversized clutch, you should definitely try to clash it !

*** La primavera está llegando y con ella la posibilidad de actualizar nuestros armarios con  prendas frescas alineadas con las tendencias de moda del 2014. Y depende de ustedes elegir  para interpretar y adaptar las tendencias con su propio estilo personal, pero tranquilas eso no significa que voy a dejarlas cortas de inspiración. Piensen en enfrentamiento de colores, contrastes, estampados ... con una mezcla salvaje de colores y texturas. 

Me decidí a usar contrastes en este post con un vestido que me obsequió un gran amigo diseñador Noé Roa es de shiffon, en capas de color púrpura y quise hacer un contraste con un collar grueso amarillo de María Simon para un sábado casual de primavera, añadí un toque de metal con un maxi clutch,  todo resumido a una serie de contrastes que sin duda deben de intentar!

Formerly the stuff of craft fairs and doilies, crochet is slowly shedding its homespun image and becoming chic. Credit influential fashion houses like Chanel and Issey Miyake for this notable transformation was only a matter of time before our favorite fashion stars elevated crochet from its Cabbage Patch associations and turned it into a top trend. And while we've spun our wearable web around the best woven picks you need to nail this look, I  also wanted to be sure to shed light on how the fashion pack is addressing this must-try style. I paired this style with beautiful jewelery, you can find it at Dafiti México . To add a touch of elegance to my look, in order to create a pop of color I used this color blocked heels that perfectly matches with the skirt.

*** Las tipicas cosas de ferias artesanales y tapetes de crochet poco a poco van dejando atrás su imagen de casa y cada vez  se hace mas chic. Casas de créditos influyentes en la moda como Chanel y Issey Miyake lo usaron para esta transformación,  era sólo cuestión de tiempo antes de que el corchet protagonizara nuestra moda favorita que se convirtió en una tendencia superior. También quería probar un look distinto al pasado con este estilo de top solo que  ahora con una falda asimetrica y me gusto! es un must-try. Me gusta combinar con este estilo accesorioes y joyería hermosa, que pueden encontrar online en Dafiti México . Para añadir un toque de elegancia al look, con el fin de crear un toque de color utilicé unos zapatos color blocked que combinan perfectamenre con esta falda.

Just when you'd wrapped your brain around bright-red denim, here comes summer's even trickier trend with the pastel-colored jeans. Since I’m all about the sugary sweet color tones this season the sherbert-colored hues are fresh and feminine and easier to style than you would think.

The crochet Spring/Summer fashion trend offers a more Bohemian allure to various outfits thanks to the low key still chic vibe it creates. Those who are fond of complex tailoring patterns and would like to sport the cute crochet dresses and tops will have the chance to do it this season with a little help from pro stylists.

Crochet encourages us to wear some of the ethnic and also Boho chic inspired clothes that would add a more sophisticated and versatile twist to our clothing style.

Hello everyone! today I'm posting an exquisite piece of art I just received a few hours ago, I'm thrilled to tell that this piece is the most amazing item in my fall 2011 wardrobe !

I wore a total black look underneath and decided to add a splash of pink ! with a blazer and a pink thin belt, making a contrast with my new exotic leather gray heels which I adored from the very first time I saw them!
